Obligatory wine and cheese still life
Here is a still life of wine, cheese, and figs. In case some of you are interested, the figs featured in this painting come from our fig tree. The tree is in a pot, which we bring inside each fall, and store in a dark closet until the air is warm enough outside in the springtime.
For those who are eyeing the cheese in this painting, it is Manchego. For those wondering what kind of wine it is, I don't remember (probably French because that's what I enjoy drinking). The label is made up, but seems to work for this painting.
Don't worry, everything in this painting was readily consumed afterwards.
