Urban Farming

Admit it . . . there was a time in your life when you thought it would be cool to own chickens. I did this painting when I was going through my "Wouldn't it be cool to have chickens?" phase. The thought of fresh eggs was enticing. The city of Minneapolis allows homeowners to keep chickens in their yards (not all cities permit that). However, I figured it was a phase that would pass and it pretty much did.

Since my chicken phase, I've also had a "Wouldn't it be cool to have a goat (and never have to mow my lawn again)?" phase . . .

As well as a beehive phase . . .
